Have not in a school where there are

Have you ever thought as a parent should I home-school my child or is public school better, but you just have the right sources? Well today I hope to give you the sources needed. I plan to discuss and use studies about why it can be difficult for a child, and how it can difficult for them to interact with the real world problems and situation.  In doing this I also believe I will find info that will be useful and tell me why it’s good for some kids to be home schooled and taught by their parents.  In this paper my main view is. Home-Schooling can be an effect on child especially being taught by their own parents and not in a school where there are degree centered teachers in the world.

Parents are in the child’s life from the time their born until the time it leaves the house.   Help them out with whatever the child needs, but is it possible for the parents with a degree in Education be able to teach their kids from grades K-12.  Teach them and be able to learn all that a public student has in his/her time as a student.  Now even though parents have taught them all their lives on how to maybe use the bathroom, wipes their self, or even counts their numbers.   Is it truly possible that a parent with like said before no degree in Education to teach their child how to do Algebra or even Physics, these are things that public students are potentially learning.

In a Blog there was a vote taken about if parents should not be allowed to homeschool their children.  One person agreed that homeschooling should actually be banned all around the world.  He explained that if they are going to homeschooled that the child and the parent should meet a standard on a test and if they meet the required grade on the test that are able to teach their child but if either are not able to meet the standards they need to be put in a public/private school (Ruco).   In the argument people were saying stuff such as.  The only point that we have against parents not teaching their child is, because the parent is “not smart enough.”  Then one pointed that she knew a lot of homeschooled kids that are probably been responsible for making sure you get paid, most likely the people that are your boss are probably the ones that were home schooled and doing better for them self than kids that went to public school.  There was a fact that was interesting that home schooling is growing 11% each year, and home school kids average about 1.7 points higher on ACTs than a person who is non-homeschooled (Siminou).

What does the parent feel that they are teaching them that the public school teachers aren’t? Now it was said that bringing the child out from a public school is a lot of work for the parent and depending on how much the parents put into the child into studying with them and teaching is what the kid will learn, so not only does maybe the parent have to provide for the child and keep a roof over its head, but they also have to make sure they are getting the proper education as if a child in public speaking would get.  “It should be noted that “home schooling” is not a uniform event and varies in time commitment, curriculum, philosophy of learning, and how much each parent commits to the process.” (Siminou)

My main focus is on home-schooling and public schools.  We say that the parents don’t have enough training into teaching their children, but it could also be flipped could the teachers with the degree be not able to teach the kid themselves.  Even though you have a degree to teach students some teachers don’t know how to teach and break things down where the child could understand them something that a parent might be able to do.  Home-schooling is totally different environment than public schooling.  Most parents have their child home-schooled because of maybe all the chaos that goes on in the environment of public schools or it could be the fact that there is no peer pressure that the child will have to deal with in the classrooms.  Now home-schooling is for maybe students who work in calm environments or even working on their own time schedule and learning at their own pace.  Home-schooling is a place where you don’t have to worry about maybe wearing the right clothes or having on the right pair of shoes, because you are not around all the peer pressure of you have to look right with this type of group or does what everybody else does.  Also home-schooling you can teach your kids whatever you want the main focus of their education. I also read that most of the home-schooling that goes on parents do so they can teach their child more religious things, which the public schools don’t teach at all on.

Public School is a whole other world.  In public school this is where all the chaos comes into play some say that the chaos is what the child needs to succeed.  That can really be a true statement once you think about it, because in life you’re going to have chaos that you just can’t get away from like on your job if you have a deadline to meet maybe on your presentation and your boss is making sure you have things done and he wants you to send him copies of it so he can look at it, then you also have home duties that need to be taken care of, could you really learn all this by being in a home schooled environment that has no chaos at all, then coming to the chaos of the real world might be a burden.   If the parents are able to focus on maybe one area than the other why have school, because even in college you have to still have the basic courses.  So if you focused on Math in home-schooling and just did a little science, what happens when you have biology class that you have probably no idea what going on? If you went to public school you would at least know some of the words she is talking about and wouldn’t be completely lost.  Public Schools have special activities that go on after school like special groups you can join and sports that you can attend that a home-school doesn’t have.

Even though home-school doesn’t have the after recreational things that public schools have.  Could it be possible that even though you are home schooled that you are still able to access the things that public schools have such as being a part of the football team, going to the school dances, or even able to check out a book in the school library?  In my opinion I fell that there would be no reason to have public schools in the first place Why should a child that is home schooled be able to participate in the maybe a sport clearly the basketball doesn’t see him any at school and that’s how you build up team chemistry by attending the school and talking being “Socially” active with your teammates outside of the basketball court.  The reason that the players know each other so well is because of the time that they spend in school together. Would that be right thing to do that the kids at public school have to get up at 6 in the morning and get ready for school while the home school kids can sleep in and be comfortable in bed and still do school work until they have practice.  I personally say it’s not fair to any of the public school students at all.

Now you have them out of public school for a reason and now you want them to have the privilege to attend the activities that public schools have.  So what you’re saying is that you want to let your child attend public schools when you are tax payer so when you think you saving money from getting your child out of public schools you still giving money for the other kids.  So my question is why not just put your child in public school were your know your check that you make and they take out for school fee, which is why they supply school buses to take your child to school.  Then you want them to be able to have all the access that the public school has, I believe some parent’s would be offended by that.  Simple fact your child is getting special treat of not attending the school, and going through the motions that their child has to go through.

In this whole argument the main focus is not the taxpayer or even the educational value.  The main point that has been brought up in various arguments and debates are the Social quality that the home-schooled person will have.  Will the social life affect the child’s future and how will it affect it.  Now there was a woman who said that she was asked if her kids were in home schooled.  She answered by saying yes why? And the man said don’t you think that your kids will be “Socially Challenged. (Eggers)” As I kept reading she was explaining this that some homeschooled students did so they wouldn’t be socially challenged as far as running errands, visiting relatives, and doing jobs for neighbor.  Now as I looked these were thing that they did while learning I guess Math.  So why are home-schooled students out doing all these things while public school students are in school learning what they should? Now she argued that the social life does not just allow the kids to be around four walls of a school building.

Now, in the economy eyes we see as if children need to be around other children and need to be out the house to be able to learn how to meet kids their own age but also kids who are older and younger with them. Being social means “seeking or enjoying the companionship of others; friendly; sociable (Dictionary).” Economy people think that because people that don’t surround there kids around people means there anti-social.

If a child was home schooled do we really have the right to say that the child is not going to be sociable or have a life. As an economy we just see the view of that, the kids going to be in the house all day and not going to be able to enjoy people their own age group. I realize school is a sociable place, but is that the only place you can meet kids your own age group. What about if you go to church? The youth in the church or even your neighbors that live beside you. So there are always different ways that you can socialize without being in the school building. Now, could it effect present situations as far as like maybe a job or even in school? Say you go to college and you need to talk to your professor well in this situation your professor at home was your mom or dad. So it’s different asking them than asking someone that doesn’t know and has never seen you before. Now some kids might adjust to it but not every single one.

Now in conclusion I hope I gave you some good insight about if it’s good for economy or parents to put their children and not let them attend public school. As info has made it seems like that the right way to go is public school. Public school the child will find who they are as a person, and at home school remember some parents pick the subject that they might want to focus on. How about if the child went to public school, it might like Science instead of History. So while you want it to be a history major it could have been biology major. Small things like this can affect a child’s future without you even noticing. Public Schools offer many different opportunities especially with after school activities. There are so many school activities that students get involved in that looks good on college applications that some home schooled people cannot attend. So with all this info really think about am I going to really affect my son/daughter life by putting her in home schooling, and not letting him/her experience life.Have you ever thought as a parent should I home-school my child or is public school better, but you just have the right sources?
